EDR Design Build was recently featured in Houzz for a kitchen renovation in Sunnyvale, California, completed in collaboration with designer Petra Jakobskrueger of Creative Partner.
The homeowners wanted to transform their closed-off kitchen into a more open, inviting space where their family could cook, dine and spend time together. The renovation involved removing walls, relocating the kitchen and creating a stronger connection between the kitchen, dining area and family room.
The finished design features soft sage green cabinetry, a spacious white island, Fantasy Macaubas quartzite countertops, brass accents and handcrafted-look white backsplash tile. Skylights and backyard views bring additional natural light into the space.
The redesigned layout also introduces practical storage solutions, integrated appliances and a walk-in pantry, making the kitchen more functional for everyday use and entertaining.
